The CGT Circle

The CGT Circle is on a mission to realise the potential and collective power of women in CGT.

We believe that by championing diversity and empowering the underrepresented groups of CGT it will lay the foundations to build an industry where everyone is valued, and equity and parity are the norms

We founded The CGT Circle out of the realisation that a woman-centric environment for networking within the cell and gene therapy industry would provide a community to support women as they navigate careers in this industry.

But we aren’t an events company - we needed a different way of making a difference and so the hub and spoke or decentralised networking model was born. We've created a global community of over 1600 members with local meet ups, to help get to know your local community, organised by the local community. Something that is accessible for all, not just those who get to attend bigger events and will allow you to connect with those women in your local area, that you can grab a coffee with, see a friendly face at a conference, who might even work in the same building, but you’d never think to meet up with.

We've created a model for networking that you can attend not knowing anyone, but come away from knowing most of the room. That’s fun, relaxed and informal and we've done it with our community, for our community.
